WHAT IS SGB?
Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) is proven to provide durable relief from symptoms of PTSD and may help in some anxiety states. Dr. Mulvaney has successfully treated over 1,000 patients with SGB for PTSD, and published 5 medical peer-reviewed papers. A major study (multi-center randomized controlled trial) on this topic has been accepted for publication in a top tier medical journal and is awaiting publication.
SGB DOES NOT TREAT:
Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, seizure disorder, personality disorders or other mental health conditions. (SGB does not specifically treat depression and traumatic brain injury, however there may be overlapping PTSD symptoms which can be treated.)
